The heartbreaking earthquake happened on 25 April, 2015 was a disaster which destroyed thousands of houses and families in Nepal. The destructive impact could be measured in terms of number of lives lost, number of people who got seriously injured and long-term suffering. However, with our support and compassion, we hope that the sufferers could gradually recover both physically and emotionally.
Thus through the “Love for Nepal” Program, we made 1,800 packs of cookies, which helped raised a donation of MOP100,000 in two weeks. Rotaract Club of Macau appreciates everyone’s effort and support to make this program significant. The donation will be passed to the Rotary District 3292 and Rotaract Club of Pokhara Fishtail, a local Rotaract Club in Nepal, in order to deliver essential medicines and relief supplies quickly and efficiently to the people in need.
